(AUDIO) FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE KNOWS THE POWER OF A SONG

Florida Georgia Line just won Single of the Year at the ACM Awards for “H.O.L.Y.,” a song that continues to blow their minds.  The song spent 18 consecutive weeks on the top of the Hot Country Songs chart and went beyond the guys’ wildest dreams and Brian Kelley says, “I think we knew it would connect but we make these plans you know and we think they’re big and we dream these dreams and God’s like, ‘Nah I got something way bigger in store. Let me do my magic.’  And I feel like that’s kind of what’s happened.  It’s something so much bigger than Tyler and I and that’s why it is so special and it’s beyond our control and it’s magical.”

Even now, when they perform “H.O.L.Y.” in concert, it continues to be a magical moment.  Brian says, “Every night we have church up there on stage and it takes us to a place that we’ve never really gotten to go in our show.  It’s a different dynamic and you see people worshipping out there, you see people cryin’, dancin’, fallin’ in love again and it’s a beautiful, beautiful thing. We’re so thankful for that song. We know the power of a song.”

“H.O.L.Y.” was the first release off Florida Georgia Line’s Dig Your Roots album, which also features their latest single, “God, Your Mama and Me.”
