Brett Young’s career couldn’t be hotter right now, with his latest single, “In Case You Didn’t Know,” well on its way to the top of the charts, so it’s hard for him to imagine settling down and starting a family anytime soon, but it’s definitely something he wants to do, eventually.  Brett says, “I absolutely want a family and children. I thought when I was younger I was going to start really young but then my trajectory looked like it was going to be professional baseball and so that was like, ‘Oh hold off, you probably don’t need to be traveling around on buses playing minor league baseball with kids at home.’  And then it turned into music and I was like, ‘Well you’re not making any money now so maybe not a family yet.’”

When the time does come for Brett to start a family he isn’t exactly sure how big of a family he wants.  He says, “When I was younger I thought I wanted a lot [of kids]. And now, you know, I’ve gotten a little bit older and I’ve thought about it more and I definitely want a few but I don’t know how many and I don’t know when I’m ready to start.”

Suffice it to say, when Brett does decide he’s ready to start, we’re sure there are plenty of women who would gladly volunteer to be Mrs. Young.
