Brantley Gilbert has said he and his wife Amber definitely want kids at some point, although for now they’re just enjoying being married.  But Amber is getting some practice being a parent of sorts, to her little puppy that she’s had for about three months.  Brantley says, “His name’s Beau.  She spells it B-E-A-U, and he’s an English Cream Golden Retriever.  Her family had dogs growing up but she never had a dog that was just hers.  So this is her first time and she is smitten.  He has her wrapped around his finger.”

Amber swears that when they have kids, Brantley is going to be the softie pushover parent because of the way he treats his dog, Sylo.  Between the two of them, somebody’s going to have to learn to be the disciplinarian or the ‘bad cop’ with their real kids when they have them.  In the meantime, Brantley is just enjoying touring and the fact that his latest single, “The Weekend,” is in the top ten and continuing to climb the charts.
