Thomas Rhett and his wife Lauren will be the parents to two babies by the end of the summer, which was just mind blowing to Thomas when he found out.  TR and Lauren had already begun the process of adopting a baby from Africa after trying unsuccessfully for a while to conceive a child.  And then in December, they were in Africa with Tyler Hubbard of Florida Georgia Line and his wife Hayley, when Lauren took a pregnancy test and found out she was pregnant.  “We were on a safari with Tyler (Hubbard) and his wife and in the middle of literally nowhere,” recalls Thomas, “so the fact that we even found a pregnancy test to begin with was a miracle. I was in the gym working out and they all came in and said, ‘We’re having a baby.’  And I was like, ‘You are kidding me!  Like how in the world are we about to have two kids within less than a year?’ But just honestly I was just overjoyed. I always wanted twins and this is about as close as it gets, I think.”

TR and Lauren hope to bring home their adopted child from Africa prior to Lauren giving birth to their baby girl in August.  Needless to say it’s going to be an incredibly hectic time in their household with two new kids, while Thomas continues to promote his latest single, “Craving You,” while readying his next album to release later this year, and continuing his Home Team Tour well into the fall.
