(AUDIO) FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE GET A LITTLE GIDDY SINGING WITH THE BACKSTREET BOYS

Florida Georgia Line’s latest single, “God, Your Mama and Me,” features the Backstreet Boys, and Brian Kelley says, “This was us just dreaming big and we had a song that really made sense, you know.  ‘God, Your Mama and Me’ is a big ol’ love song and it almost sounds like a modern day Backstreet Boys and we kind of kept saying that and I guess putting those energies and those vibrations out in the world somehow brought Nick Carter on our bus during CMA Fest.  And you know we were playing him that song and a week later they’re cutting vocals on it out in L.A.”

Brian thinks it’s crazy that things worked out the way they did and both he and Tyler are thrilled with the end result on “God, Your Mama and Me.”  He says, “It sounds like a big old symphony of vocals and that chorus hits and I think we’re kind of giddy and giggly when they come in singing.  They were a huge part of our younger years, a big soundtrack to our lives and a lot of people’s lives, so you know just to pay homage to them and I can’t wait to do some shows with them and have a good time.”

The Backstreet Boys will play three stadium shows with Florida Georgia Line this summer as part of their Smooth Tour.  You can get all the dates and more details on FloridaGeorgiaLine.com.
