- Delta Rae’s debut single on The Valory Music Co. is “A Long and Happy Life.”
- The members of Delta Rae are three siblings, Ian Hölljes (vocals and guitar), Eric Hölljes (vocals, guitar, piano and keys) and Brittany Hölljes (vocals), as well as Elizabeth “Liz” Hopkins (vocals), Mike McKee (percussion) and Grant Emerson (bass guitar).
- Delta Rae says when it comes to being as honest as possible with their emotions in their songwriting, they are not a band that’s too cool or apathetic. “We are entrenched in the feelings of being alive, the joy and the sorrow, and we aren’t afraid to express ourselves and tell our stories. We hope it gives the audience and opportunity to connect and feel something too.
- Delta Rae’s music has been described as “The throwback folk of Peter Paul & Mary, James Taylor-style soft rock, Motown soul and Joni Mitchell, with the storytelling of country music.
- Ian and Eric started out as songwriters on the West Coast more than a decade ago and co-wrote “Cooler Than Me,” a top-10 pop hit for Mike Posner.
