(AUDIO) RASCAL FLATTS COULDN’T BE HAPPIER WITH “YOURS IF YOU WANT IT”

Rascal Flatts is inching closer and closer to the #1 spot on the charts with their latest single, “Yours If You Want It,” which is currently in the top ten, and according to Joe Don Rooney, “This song has just done something incredible, especially for us and our career, after this many years being in and having a song that resonates with the fans out there, radio’s playing it and embracing it, it’s incredible. And live it’s so much fun to play. You know, it’s a lot of great energy and very thankful and grateful for that song.”

Gary LeVox couldn’t agree more and he also says the song stood out from the first time they recorded it, early on in the making of their latest album, Back To Us.  “It’s funny because that song we kind of we cut it and kind of went away and because it was one of the first things we cut,” explains Gary.  “And then as we continued to keep going on and listening to new, you know because a lot of times you put your ear to new stuff you’re like, ‘That’s it. That’s it.’  Then you cut another one and you go, ‘That’s it.’ Well, ‘Yours If You Want It’ just hung in there and it was like man, I mean that’s exactly what we want to say right at this time, and just a great way to kick off the album, an up tempo with a great lyric.”

The song continues to resonate with fans and is proving why it was the obvious choice for the first single off Rascal Flatts’ new album.
