Drake White’s latest single, “Makin’ Me Look Good Again,” was written about his wife, Alex, but it was a comment from her dad that first sparked the idea of the song for Drake.  He explains, “Her dad, and the reason it’s called ‘Makin’ Me Look Good Again’ is because I walked out of her mom and dad’s house with her on my arm one day and he goes, ‘Man…’ you know, I forgot where we were going it was just out to eat or something and he goes, ‘Man, she makes you look good.’ And then that’s where the title, and I sat there and spoke it into my phone I said, ‘There you go baby makin’ me look good again.’ And within a year I’d written it with the co-writers.”
