Justin Moore is admittedly a small town guy who’d rather live in his home state of Arkansas with his family than a larger city like Nashville, but his small town has lot more in common with a big city than people might realize. Justin says, “I learned with “Small Town USA,” when the label wanted to put that as a single, I said, ‘Man, I don’t think enough people are going to be able to relate to this. Yeah, it’s not going to be a hit record.’ Thank God I was wrong and it was a number one record. And the reason is because even if you’re in a big city, New York City for instance, I learned this with this song, this one little block of New York City has its own little small town and they all shop at the same coffee shop and they all probably run into each other at whatever grocery store is right there. And so, you know it’s very different because of the pace of life but there are some similarities as well.”
Also, Justin realizes that whether you’re from a small town or a big city, you share a sense of pride for where you’re from. He says, “I think there are parallels between the two even though they are so different.”
Fortunately for Justin, whether people are from small towns or big cities, they all seem to be loving his latest single, “Somebody Else Will,” which is currently in the top ten and continuing to climb toward the top of the charts.

“Very different in certain aspects but I learned with “Small Town USA,” when the label wanted to put that as a single, I said, ‘Man, I don’t think enough people are going to be able to relate to this. And so, you know it’s very different because of the pace of life but there are some similarities as well. I think they each carry a sense of pride whether you’re from the east side or uptown or wherever, you know. I think there are parallels between the two even though they are so different.”
