When Danielle Bradbery made her first album, she was so new to the process of making music that she was still figuring out who she was as an artist, so she relied on all outside songwriters for her music. But for her sophomore album, I Don’t Believe We’ve Met, Danielle spent a lot of time growing up, finding her voice and defining the type of music she wants to record, which allowed her to co-write seven of the ten songs on the album, including her current single, “Sway.” She says, “I’ve written with pretty amazing writers I know Emily Wiseband has been with a bunch of artists, and I actually wrote a song, and got the pleasure of getting one of his songs, with Thomas Rhett, and so that’s really exciting. And with me being a writer on them you will hear a lot of realness and me.”
Danielle had a chance to talk to her co-writers and let them get to know her and she made sure they understood she wanted to write her truth without a filter, in the best way.’ So she says, “It is all me and inspired by me.”
I Don’t Believe We’ve Met will be released on December 1st, but fans can pre-order it now on DanielleBradbery.com.

“I’ve written with pretty amazing writers I know Emily Wiseband has been with a bunch of artists, and I actually wrote a song and got the pleasure of getting one of his songs with Thomas Rhett, and so that’s really exciting. And with me being a writer on them you will hear a lot of realness and me and I will say behind the scenes I really did give my two cents and give the writers kind of a prep of me saying basically, ‘I do want to say all these things without kind of filter but in the best way.’ So it is all me and inspired by me.”
