(AUDIO) MIDLAND MAKES FRIENDS WHEREVER THEY GO

Midland has been signed to their record deal and out touring the country and getting to play shows with other country acts for a little over a year, but in that time they’ve become friends with some of the biggest stars in the format, and have been known to frequently show up on other artists’ social media accounts and in other people’s stories about good times out on the road.  Thinking about the friends they’ve made, Jess Carson says, “Everybody’s just really cool.  Luke Bryan, such a cool guy, Thomas Rhett one of our favorite people, Jon Pardi, Brothers Osborne, Florida Georgia Line, from this here very label.”

While Midland’s musical style is incredibly unique and much more rooted in traditional sounding country music, when it comes to making friends in the music business, Mark Wystrach says, “Our attitude is, Midland does what we do and we write our music. And if you’re a good person and a good hang will hang out with you. In this business, it’s a hard business anybody that’s out there doing it, we tip our hats to ‘em. Not every single artist that we come across, maybe it’s not my favorite music perhaps, but I respect everybody for what they’re doing and really for me it’s just about what kind of a person are you.  There’s a great community in country music.”

Midland just released their brand new single, “Make A Little,” off their forthcoming debut album, On The Rocks, which will be released on September 22nd.
