Justin Moore just released his brand new single, “Kinda Don’t Care,” and he’ll soon kick off his Hell on a Highway Tour next month. Fortunately he’ll have a few weeks off the road after a busy summer, to be able to give his voice a little rest and get ready to go again. Justin says, “It’s funny because sometimes when my voice is a little raw, you know, and we’ve gotta go play a show, I’m so jealous of my band because they can still play their instruments even if their voice is off. My voice is my instrument! And I’m such a perfectionist, especially as far as music is concerned and live music.”
Anytime Justin has to perform when his voice isn’t in peak condition he says, “It’s like if you go out as an athlete and you play with your ankle swollen or your knee sore or whatever, you wanna be able to be full go, you know, the whole time. You don’t wanna kind of halfway get through it, so it’s tough at times but we’ve still got a great job and it’s a blast to go do even if you … even if you’ve gotta play hurt.”
Justin has a show this weekend in Louisiana and then he’ll have about three weeks to rest up before his new tour. You can see a complete list of his upcoming tour dates at JustinMooreMusic.com.
