When Justin Moore first heard the demo for his latest single, “Kinda Don’t Care,” he liked the song and knew he wanted to record it, but he also wanted to tweak it a little.  He says, “We cut this song really, really different than the demo, which sometimes you do, sometimes you don’t do.  More times than not you stick close to the demo.  The demo was more of a slow, kind of heartbreak kind of thing and we turned it into kind of a Waylon kind of groove.”

And as much as he loved the song before he recorded it, Justin says, “Sometimes when you go into the studio things get better or you like them more so and that’s totally what happened to ‘Kinda Don’t Care.’  When I first heard the song I loved it, I loved the idea and it was right in my wheelhouse but when we recorded it, it came out even cooler than I anticipated.”
