Justin Moore just launched his Hell on a Highway Tour with special guest Dylan Scott, and one of the challenges Justin faces every year, after a decade of touring is keeping the shows fresh and exciting for his fans, particularly when it comes to his set lists. Justin says, “This is a great problem to have and we’re very thankful to have it, but we’ve got a lot of hit records now, thankfully, and we’ve got a lot of songs that may not have been on the radio that fans expect us to play each and every night.”
Plus, anytime he has a new album or a new single, like his latest release, “Kinda Don’t Care,” there’s always the challenge of trying to play some of the new songs, without giving the fans an excuse to go get a beer or go to the bathroom. Justin says, “Trying to put all those in, in a set list that makes sense, plus, trying to introduce some new stuff – which I know the fans hate but every artist likes to play new stuff – trying to introduce some of that stuff, it is difficult and it’s difficult tour after tour after tour to make it fresh.”
But like Justin said, while it’s a challenge every year, it’s a great problem to have, and he only hopes to continue having more and more hits to make putting his set list together every year an even bigger challenge.
