(AUDIO) FOR CARLY PEARCE, THE BRETT YOUNG TOUR IS A FULL CIRCLE MOMENT

Carly Pearce just hit the road with Brett Young for his Caliville Tour, and for both of them, it’s a pretty cool culmination of their time together in Nashville so far.  Carly explains, “We met running the circuits of Nashville doing the writer’s rounds and playing house concerts.  And I heard ‘In Case You Didn’t Know’ and ‘Like I Loved You’ and all those songs on his album, just him sitting with an acoustic with no microphone in somebody’s living room for the first time and I remember thinking, number one, ‘Oh my gosh this guy is so cute.’ Number two, ‘Oh my gosh he’s so unbelievably talented as a songwriter and as a lyricist and as a vocalist.  He has such a special tone to his voice.’ And so we always joke and say that when we were putting together writer’s rounds in Nashville for different shows we would call each other cause we loved each other’s music. And so this is kind of a full circle moment.”

Carly just released her debut album and is on the verge of having her first #1 song with the title track, “Every Little Thing,” and Brett is working toward his third #1 song, and Carly says, “I’m so proud of him for all the success that he’s had and I remember him telling me that he was getting signed to a Big Machine and I was slightly jealous inside.  Now to have it come full circle and for me to be a part of it too, and now to tour together, it’s just gonna be really fun.”

“I think what makes this tour so special for me and probably for him is that we met running the circuits of Nashville doing the writer’s rounds and playing house concerts.
