(AUDIO) CMA NOMINEES FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE CONTINUE TO DIG DEEP TO REMAIN TOP DUO IN COUNTRY MUSIC

Florida Georgia Line is nominated for Vocal Duo of the Year at this week’s CMA Awards, and a lot of their success comes from continuing to grow and evolve through their music.  When Brian and Tyler first released “H.O.L.Y.” off their Dig Your Roots album, it was a signal to the world that they had much more to offer than perhaps some of the party anthems they had become known for.  Tyler Hubbard says, “We’ve taken the other records obviously serious, but I think this one was just kind of our time to dig back in our arsenal of songs we’ve written and say, you know, what do we want to say on this record, what do we want our fans to know, what’s important to us, and now that we have so many eyes watching, so many ears listening, what do we really want to say?’ And it really is about digging our roots and making sure that the fans know all sides of who BK and I are, you know, and the way we were raised.”

With songs like “H.O.L.Y.” to their current single, “Smooth,” Florida Georgia Line has scored three #1 singles off their Dig Your Roots album and they continue to remain the top duo in country music, in terms of album sales, concert ticket sales and #1 songs.  You can find out if Florida Georgia Line can take home their fourth Duo of the Year trophy at this Wednesday’s CMA Awards, which will air live from Nashville on ABC.
