Brantley Gilbert’s latest single, “The Ones That Like Me,” offers a good glimpse into who he is as a person, beyond his tough looking exterior. Brantley says, “If you’ve seen most of the pictures of me in the past several years it looks like I’m going to beat up the camera and the people that really know me know it ain’t quite like that. You know, there’s a lot more to it and a lot more than skin deep. So this song kind of leans into that and there’s a concept also of just being the ‘what you see is what you get guy’. That’s one of my favorite parts of my job in particular is that I get to be me. I don’t have to pretend to be something else. And the people that really know me know who I am, they hold me accountable and they know that I got their back too.”
