Thomas Rhett’s new single, “Marry Me” is flying up the charts while he takes a little time to celebrate the holidays with his family. This is the first year Thomas and his wife Lauren will get to celebrate Christmas with their daughters, 2-year-old Willa Gray, who they adopted and brought home from Uganda in May, and Ada James, who was just born in August. Thomas says, “Growing up, waiting for Christmas felt like you were sitting there waiting for six years. And now that we have kids I do think that that like that little anxious feeling of ‘God it’s gonna take me forever to fall asleep tonight’ is gonna be back because we know that that’s what Willa and Ada are thinking about. So, it’ll be fun.”
Christmas is Thomas’ wife’s favorite holiday, so there’s no doubt she’ll make sure Will and Ada’s first Christmas in their home is extra special.
