(AUDIO) BRETT YOUNG IS THANKFUL HIS CALIVILLE ATTITUDE PAID OFF

Brett Young just wrapped up his sold out Caliville Tour with Carly Pearce, he celebrated his second #1 single with “In Case You Didn’t Know” in 2017, and it looks like he’ll kick off 2018 with another #1 song, with his latest song, “Like I Loved You.”

When Brett coined the term Caliville, it was about a state of mind of not being afraid to dream and believing that anything is possible if you want it badly enough and you are willing to work to achieve it.  After 14 years of pursuing music and finally having it pay off the way it has, Brett says, “A lot of people will try to discourage you – you’ve got your head in the clouds, you’re barking up the wrong tree, that’s an unlikely outcome. Fine, but do you really want to work a job that doesn’t make you happy, or do something that you’re going to resent twenty years down the road? Or do you want to chase your dream and fight for it. That’s what Caliville means to me and so it just seemed really fitting that it become the first tour.”

Brett will wrap up 2017 in the recording studio as he works on his sophomore album, for release, he says, hopefully in early summer 2018.  He’s also looking forward to spending a god chunk of the New Year on tour with Thomas Rhett on the Life Changes tour, which kicks off in April.
