Danielle Bradbery released her sophomore album, I Don’t Believe We’ve Met, back in October, featuring her latest single, “Sway.” The album definitely has a more mature R&B country sound to it than her first one and Danielle says, “I’ve been trying to work on my sound, and I mean, on [The Voice] it was a very root country. And yeah, I’ve listened to country music all my life but I honestly wouldn’t showcase myself as the blonde country girl. Love the outdoors, love the story behind everything, but now I would say, since I do listen to every genre, I like to put all that into one.”
Danielle will always have a foundation of country to her music and she says, “I’ll stay to my roots but I like a little bit of R&B, I like a little bit of pop, and I like to kind of challenge myself.”
You can hear Danielle’s brand of country in songs like “Sway,” “Worth It” and “Hello Summer,” which are all on her sophomore album.
