Carly Pearce is going to be spending much of 2018 on the road, with opening slots on Blake Shelton’s, Thomas Rhett’s and Rascal Flatts’ tours already confirmed. So when she’s on the road, there are a few things Carly tries to always have with her. “I’m a big runner so I think first and foremost something that just keeps me sane – we spend so much time sitting on an airplane or sitting in an airport or sitting at a venue or sitting in a van – and just to kind of keep myself moving and active and sane I always bring running shoes and headphones and listen to podcasts,” says Carly.
The “Hide the Wine” singer also brings books to read when she’s traveling, and like every good woman, Carly confesses, [I bring] lots of clothes, too many clothes, too many shoes but it just makes me feel like I’m at home and it’s just as much as I can kind of surround my hotel room and my bus or anything like that with things that remind me of home. I do that.”
