(AUDIO) FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE IS DEVELOPING A DEEPER CONNECTION TO THEIR FANS THROUGH THEIR MUSIC

When Florida Georgia Line first started out, they released songs that helped establish them as guys who like to party and have a good time.  “It’s been fun to come out early on and say, ‘Hey guys we like to have a good time. Here’s some party music,’” says Tyler Hubbard.  “You’re not gonna come buy a ticket to listen to a sad song or slow song, you want to hear some party songs. So we came out like that and showed the world that side of who we are, which is still there.”

As their career has grown, FGL has been able to go beyond being just a party band thanks to songs like “Dirt,” “H.O.L.Y.” and “God, Your Mama and Me.”  Tyler says, “We still love to have a great time and we do it every night but also there’s a lot of depth to who we are a lot of different sides. It’s fun now that we kind of have a foundation to kind of say ‘hey guys this is how we grew up, this is who we are, deeper songs that mean a lot to us, songs that we’ve written previously and a long time ago. So you know we hope that the world loves it and it’s cool just to feel even a deeper connection with our fans.”

Florida Georgia Line is currently climbing the charts with their latest single, “Meant to Be,” while they work on their fourth album to release later this year.
