(AUDIO) DANIELLE BRADBERY GIVES ALL THE CREDIT TO THE SONGWRITERS

One of the thrills for Danielle Bradbery of creating her latest album, I Don’t Believe We’ve Met, was getting to really work on her songwriting and learn and work with some of the best in the business.  Danielle says, “Carrie Underwood’s one of my biggest inspirations and I’ve been in the room with some of the writers of her biggest songs.  And I’m like, ‘This is insane.’  And they’re all so inspiring.”

A lot of songwriters are happy to exist in the background and most of them are pretty humble about their talent.  Danielle can’t believe it sometimes.  She says, “Some of them are like, ‘Nah, we don’t matter, we’re just behind everything.’”

But she adamantly protests, “No! Y’all have created this song.  Y’all are the reason the song is born.’  So I give a lot of credit to every songwriter, and especially personally for me just trying to figure out who I am for this album, they definitely were a big motivation and inspiration for all of it.”

Danielle co-wrote her latest single, “Worth It,” with Jeff Pardo and Molly Reed.
