Long before Carly Pearce had a record deal or a hit single, she was playing at the Grand Ole Opry anytime they would let her. Carly’s love of the Opry dates back to when she was a little girl. “
Ever since I was a little girl, I’m talking four, five, six years old, I’ve talked about wanting to sing at the Opry,” says Carly. “My grandparents always had books about the Opry and things like that so I was exposed to it very young and understood that it was kind of THE DEAL for country music and the most precious place that you could ever step foot in and sing at as an artist. And that was just the ultimate bucket list moment for me to sing on the Opry.”
To this day, Carly has played over 50 shows at the Opry and has no plans to slow down. The dream, of course, for the “Hide the Wine” singer, would be to one day be invited to become a member of the Opry, although she would still play there for the rest of her life even if that never happened.
