(AUDIO) MIDLAND CONTINUES TO WORK HARD TO DESERVE ACM NEW DUO OR GROUP AWARD

Last month, Midland won the ACM Award for Best New Vocal Duo or Group, and while it was exciting in the moment, lead singer Mark Wystrach says it doesn’t really give them a boost of confidence or a little extra swagger now when they step on stage.  “No it actually makes you … I think it does the opposite,” he says, “It’s humbling and it makes you want to go out there – every time now you have that moniker hanging above your head – so it makes me want to go back to work and get better.”

Midland will spend the summer promoting their new single, “Burn Out,” on the fair and festival circuit, before hopping on Thomas Rhett’s Life Changes Tour in the fall.
