Florida Georgia Line has collaborated with everyone from Bebe Rexha to The Chainsmokers to Backstreet Boys, and looking ahead, Tyler Hubbard says, “I think it’d be cool, if we’re continuing to get out of the country world, you know, and do something out of our box, we’ve got a lot of respect for Bruno Mars. I think he’s amazing. Justin Timberlake’s amazing. I think we could do something cool together. You know who else is random that I think would be fun to work with his Cardi B. I don’t know, that’s so random, but I think that’d be cool.”
Considering all the people from the pop and rap world that Florida Georgia Line has been able to work with, including Hailee Steinfeld and Nelly, Cardi B may not be so far-fetched after all. FGL’s collaboration with Bebe Rexha, “Meant to Be,” is spending its 25th week at the top of Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart, which makes it the second longest running song to top that chart, joining “Cruise,” which is the third longest running song and “H.O.L.Y.” which is the fifth longest running song to top the Hot Country Songs chart.
