Brantley Gilbert know that a lot of people enjoy barbecues and heading to the pool or the lake or the beach for Memorial Day, or maybe even just appreciate having the day off from work, but “The Ones That Like Me” singer also hopes people remember what Memorial Day is all about.  Brantley says, “You know, on Memorial Day I feel like everybody goes to a place, or should, I hope they do, go to a place where it’s like man I have these guys and girls to thank for my freedom and the things that I was able to do today because of my freedom. It’s because they paid the ultimate price. I feel like any time we get an opportunity, even not on Memorial Day, but especially on Memorial Day, just a chance to get silent for a minute and say thank you with your eyes closed.”

Brantley has always been a huge supporter of our military, supporting organizations like Wounded Warriors and other programs that serve our military men and women and veterans.
