Eli Young Band just released their brand new single, “Love Ain’t,” and according to Mike Eli, this was one of those songs the band knew right away they wanted to record.  He says, “There are those moments where you have a feeling when you hear a song and you know right away, and this was one of those.  That doesn’t always happen.  As a band we always want to make sure that we’re all in, and sometimes that means a second listen.  This is definitely a get to the chorus and you have a gut feeling it’s the one.”

It doesn’t hurt that the writers of “Love Ain’t” are notorious for turning out hit after hit.  Mike says, “It is three powerhouse songwriters obviously, Shane McAnally, Ross Copperman, who co-produced our last record, and then Ashley Gorley who we’ve written with quite a bit. But they’re three very incredible songwriters and they came out with a really, really cool song and it has Eli Young Band written all over it.”
