Eli Young Band was excited to get to add their new song, “Love Ain’t” into their concert set list, because Mike Eli says, “As artists, as musicians, we tend to get bored very easily and we tend to want to change things up and try new things. And so anytime we get to put new music into the show it’s exciting for us.”

Mike admits the challenge with playing new music is remembering that it’s new and unfamiliar to their fans.  He laughs and says, “The fun thing with this song is that it kind of adds that new element of excitement. And sometimes it’s too exciting for us for what the crowd is ready for, cause we’re ready to go out there and rock it like it’s a number one single now. And you kind of have to ease into that and remember that you can’t have them sing the chorus yet cause they don’t know it yet. Maybe by the third chorus.  This is definitely one of those songs that the crowd is trying to sing along by the third chorus, which is a good sign.”

No doubt as “Love Ain’t” makes its way up the charts, fans will eventually be singing every word of the song at the top of their lungs.
