Eli Young Band is out with their latest single, “Love Ain’t,” and they’re working on a new album.  Mike Eli says while they don’t necessarily look to follow trends, “We listen to the radio all the time. I think it’s important to know what is on the radio at the time. You know, there’s a lot of stuff out there that we may or may not relate to, but then there’s a lot of really cool things that are happening right now.”

Some of the acts EYB is digging for the unique sounds they’re bringing to country music include Maren Morris, Brothers Osborne, Eric Church and Miranda Lambert.  Just like them, EYB wants to continue to create their own unique sound.  Mike says, “I think there are a lot of artists that are really being themselves and paving their own way. I think the great thing about this genre is that you don’t have to be what everyone else is. You can be yourself. And I think the artists that are successful, that are a huge success, go out there and be themselves and try to make their own path or whatever.”
