When Carly Pearce first moved to Nashville and was trying to get her music career going, she adopted a ‘say yes to everything’ attitude when it came to gigs, collaborations and opportunities that could help move her closer to her country music dream. While Carly still maintains an open mind when it comes to opportunities in her career, she says, “I think I have a better idea, now that things are starting to happen, what’s the best situation for me, and what decisions I need to make that are going to be the best. But I do always have an open mind. I’m open to anything.”
Maintaining an open mind and a willingness to explore various opportunities is important to Carly because she says, “I’ve learned little things along the way that if I wouldn’t have said yes, I don’t know who I would be right now. I don’t know if I would have the confidence, I don’t know that I would have the songs, I don’t know that I would have the artistic direction that I have now. So, I always will keep that mindset of being open to anything.”
Carly’s is in the top 20 and continuing to climb the charts with his latest single, “Hide the Wine,” and on September 1st, she will join Luke Bryan as the opener for his What Makes You Country Tour – XL Stadium Sized.
