Danielle Bradbery is a soulful country artist whose music is influenced by a wide variety of genres and styles. For instance, Danielle says, “People ask, ‘What do you listen to? What’s your type of music if you’re not singing country?’ I love hip hop music, I love R&B. And they’re like, ‘I cannot see you liking that!’ I’m like, ‘I know, I know,’ but I love it.”
One of Danielle’s most recent favorite hip hop songs is “Congratulations” by Post Malone. Danielle explains, “He’s a rapper, and he sings, though. He sings really good, actually. I think he wants and loves the country music industry, which is so interesting about him. So I’m such a huge fan, and the song ‘Congratulations,’ me and my brother joke and say ‘Oh my God, this is our song,’ because it basically talks about people were saying ‘Oh you couldn’t do it, oh you’re not going to make it,’ and then now everybody’s saying, ‘Congratulations.’ So we’re like, ‘Okay, I like this song.’”
You can hear the influence of Danielle’s wide musical tastes on her latest album, I Don’t Believe We’ve Met, featuring her latest single, “Goodbye Summer.”
