(AUDIO) OPEN SPACES CALL MIDLAND WHEN IT’S TIME TO GET AWAY

Midland is currently on the road opening for Thomas Rhett on his Life Changes Tour, but when they get time off, they all agree they love to get back to nature and get back to their roots.  Cameron Duddy says if he had time off and wanted to get away, “I would go to where I grew up spending a lot of time, I’d go to Wyoming— Jackson Hole. It’s on the other side of the mountain pass and that’s where you get the best fishing in the world in the Teton Snake River and up in the Madison and Yellowstone and all the hiking and nature. That’s where I go to reset.”

Jess Carson dreams of time spent in the Willamette Valley in Oregon, and Mark Wystrach says he would head to the majestic beauty of the Colorado mountains.  Another one of his favorite spots to escape is his family’s ranch in southern Arizona.  He also says, “Give me a deserted beach in Mexico with some good waves and better friends, and those are places that I kind of dream about, I guess, all those different spots.”

For now, you can find Midland on the road promoting their latest single, “Burn Out.”  For a complete list of their tour dates, visit MidlandOfficial.com.

Midland – where go to escape 1:00

Jess Carson – “I would go to the Willamette Valley in Oregon. It’s just kind of a rural setting. It’s hilly. In the summertime it is, in my opinion, the most beautiful place in America. It’s so green there, little small towns, you know.”

Mark Wystrach – “You can hear the home sickness in his tone, man. Breaking my heart over here.”

Cameron Duddy – “I would go to where I grew up spending a lot of time, I’d go to Wyoming— Jackson Hole. It’s on the other side of the mountain pass and that’s where you get the best fishing in the world in the Teton Snake River and up in the Madison and Yellowstone and all the hiking and nature. That’s where I go to reset.”

Mark Wystrach – “Oh man, it just depends on the time of year and the mood, but Colorado is definitely one of the most majestic, beautiful places. The sheer power of those mountains, it affects you in a way that’s kind of indescribable until you are staring up at ‘em. The air up there is so fresh. But my family’s ranch out in southern Arizona is a place. And then give me a deserted beach in Mexico with some good waves and better friends, and those are places that I kind of dream about, I guess, all those different spots.”
