Eli Young Band’s latest single, “Love Ain’t,” is off a new album they’re working on as the follow-up to their Fingerprints album, which they released last year.  While it might seem quick for another album, Mike Eli says, “We didn’t put a ton of time between working on this project and Fingerprints. But I think one of the main reasons was because Fingerprints was done over a year before it was ever released.”

So by the time that album came out and was brand new to the fans, it was already old to EYB.  Mike says, “Sometimes to us, time goes by differently than it does for the fans. So I think they’ve been asking us for new music for a while, so we’re happy to give it to them.”  They’re also happy to have a great new song like “Love Ain’t” to add to their live shows.
