Now that Brett Young is a married man, he knows that how and where he chooses to spend his holidays will be a joint decision with his wife, Taylor. Fortunately, they already have this Thanksgiving figured out. Brett says, “You start talking about who gets what holidays and what we’re doing and who goes where. And we haven’t figured out Christmas yet, but we nailed down Thanksgiving. I’m getting the feeling with our families being as close as they are and as involved as they are, it’s gonna be a lot of last minute decisions and not based on who gets what but who’s able to do what or who’s able to travel where.”
For this Thanksgiving, Brett says, “We’re actually gonna go back to Oxford, Mississippi for the Egg Bowl, Mississippi versus Mississippi State, and celebrate Thanksgiving with both of our families there. That happens to be where we got engaged, so that was kind of the game plan there.”
Before Thanksgiving though, Brett will kick off his CMT Here Tonight Tour, named after his latest single, which will be on his new album, Ticket to L.A., which will be available on December 7th.
