(AUDIO) THOMAS RHETT SHARES HIS ONE HOLIDAY FOOD QUIRK

When it comes to the holidays, Thomas Rhett loves to gather with his family and enjoy great food, with one caveat.  “A weird quirky thing about me is when I go to, like, my parent’s or my grandparent’s house, like for Thanksgiving or Christmas, there’s so many different kinds of food. I cannot handle when any of those foods touch each other,” confesses Thomas.  “I have to, like, either get two plates and put them on two plates or just not let ‘em touch on the same plate. It’s so dumb. If it touches, I just kind of eat the parts that don’t touch.”

We don’t know if either of Thomas’ daughters have inherited his inability to eat foods that touch each other, but chances are, if they develop any of their own quirks regarding food, he will totally understand.

Thomas has a lot to be thankful for this Thanksgiving, including another successful headlining tour, a hugely successful album with Life Changes, and another hit on his hands, with “Sixteen,” which is sitting just outside the top ten on the charts right now.
