Besides cranking out some of the biggest hits in country music as Florida Georgia Line, Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard are both incredibly prolific songwriters, not only for themselves, but for other artists as well, which is why they hope when their songwriting will be as much a part of their musical legacy as their music, if not more so. Tyler Hubbard says, “I’m just really enjoying being in the space right now of creativity. I know I personally have written five songs in the last three days. I need a week off from writing and probably use another part of my brain for a second. And B.K. I think wrote four or five too as well. We love it. That’s our passion and so it’s hard when we take a day off, what do you do? What you’re passionate about.”
While they are proud of their work as performers and singers as members of Florida Georgia Line, Tyler says, “We look up to a lot of songwriters in Nashville that have an amazing story, an amazing legacy and I think that’s what we moved here for. So I think FGL will be part of that, but I think we both hope and want the songwriting to be just as big or bigger.”
While FGL didn’t write their current single, “Talk You Out of It,” they did have a hand in co-writing 10 of the 15 songs on their new album, Can’t Say I Ain’t Country, which is available for pre-order now, and will be released on February 15th.

Tyler Hubbard – “Truly, it feels like every other year, I feel like the legacy may change. I don’t really know. I’m just really enjoying being in the space right now of creativity.
