Justin Moore lives in his home state of Arkansas with his wife and four kids, and it turns out his parents live about 300 yards away, in the house right next door, and they are known for often dropping by unannounced. But Justin says, “To be fair, I guess we do the same thing to them, so, it’s a two-way street.”
Plus, Justin loves his parents so much that he and his wife often go on double dates with them, and he gets a little head’s up when they’re coming in because he says, “We have a code instead of a key to one of our doors, the side door we always use. But there’s a little beep when you’re punching this code and so we’ll hear ‘beep, beep’ and I’ll go, ‘That must be mom or dad.’”
Justin says having his parents letting themselves into his house has never been a bad thing, but he says, “We definitely have to be cognizant that that can happen at any moment.”
Justin’s wife probably welcomes the drop-ins since he is often on the road touring or promoting his latest single, “The Ones That Didn’t Make It Back Home,” off his new album, Late Nights and Longnecks, which he’ll release on April 26th.

It’s never been bad, but we definitely have to be cognizant that that can happen at any moment.”
