When Tyler Rich first started writing and recording songs, he always dreamed of having an entire audience singing those songs back to him. “Every time you write a song the first thing that comes to mind is, ‘Oh my God! Can’t you just hear 80,000 people screaming this in a stadium?’ says Tyler.
While Tyler didn’t write his latest single, “The Difference,” since it’s now his song that he recorded, getting to hear fans sing it back to him has been incredible. He says, “As the year passed of 2018, every weekend more and more people were singing the song. The last big show we did was in Miami and it was the most we’ve ever seen anybody sing it. And it was thousands of people, not even the choruses, every word of the verse. It was every guy hitting their friends, looking up like, ‘Yo, this song!’ (and) singing and that is a great validation. It really makes you start to feel like it’s happening.”
In addition to hearing the crowds singing “The Difference,” Tyler says they’ve even been singing some of the other songs off his debut EP, like “11:11” and “Adrenaline.”

“Man, it is everything you’ve ever wanted. Every time you write a song the first thing that comes to mind is, ‘Oh my God! Can’t you just hear 80,000 people screaming this in a stadium?’ We all say it every time we sit in a room and write a song. And then slowly but surely, you know, as the year passed of 2018, every weekend more and more people were singing the song. The last big show we did was in Miami and it was the most we’ve ever seen anybody sing it. And it was thousands of people, not even the choruses, every word of the verse.
