Riley Green’s latest single, “In Love by Now,” is about a girl that got away because the guy either didn’t pay her enough attention or didn’t commit to the relationship as much as he should have, which Riley says he can definitely relate to because of his job and his extremely demanding schedule. The good news is, anytime things haven’t worked out for Riley in a relationship, he says, “I’ve always been pretty good at not getting stressed out about stuff. I’m pretty easy going and that’s probably a pro and con for me. I guess, especially with my career now because I’ve got so much stuff going on so it’s hard for me to really sit and dwell on anything too long.”
Riley also admits that if he goes through a break up there’s an upside because he says, “I’ve got an advantage because I can make up a song about it.”
For now, Riley is single and focused on his career, including being out on the road all this summer with Brad Paisley on his 2019 World Tour.

But relationships kind of the same thing, I guess, especially with my career now because I’ve got so much stuff going on so it’s hard for me to really sit and dwell on anything too long. I guess the other thing is I’ve got an advantage because I can make up a song about it.”
