(AUDIO) HEARING THEIR SONGS ON THE RADIO INSPIRES FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE

At this point in their career, Florida Georgia Line has had plenty of opportunities to hear their songs on the radio, but it never gets old, and Brian Kelley will never forget the first time he heard and FGL song on the radio. “I had just pulled into the Brewhouse we were livin’ at – me, Chase Rice, and a couple buddies,” recalls Brian.  “And I just pulled in and ‘Cruise’ was on, This was 2012, and I had the Tahoe at the time.  Put all the windows down and got outside, parked that thing, kept it on and just cranked it up and was celebrating. Still got the video on my laptop somewhere.”

Seven years later and a whole bunch of hit songs later, not much has changed when it comes to FGL hearing their music on the radio.  Brian says, “Honestly, I still have the same feeling every time, whether I’m in Florida, on the road, or here listening to the radio. It’s freakin’ radio.  It’s so powerful, it’s what we grew up on, it’s amazing.  It’s never going to leave and it’s a cool feeling.  Makes you want to just continue that magic and that work ethic that got you there and that’s gonna keep you there.  So, it never gets old.”

Florida Georgia Line’s latest song, “Talk You Out of It,” is currently sitting in the top 15 on the charts, so the chance that they’ll hear it when they turn on the radio these days is pretty good.
