Later this year, Brett Young will become a first-time dad when his little girl is born in the fall, and he says, “I’m the first one to admit that I need help and so I’m asking anybody that will listen and give advice.”
Fortunately for Brett, a lot of the guys he’s closest to already have daughters, so they have plenty of advice to offer, and Brett says they already predicted he and Taylor were going to be having a baby girl. Brett says they all believed it was going to be a little girl because they told him, “You’re a girl dad.’” And he says, “So I’m like, ‘Well you put that out into the universe, now I have a little girl comin’, so you gotta help me with this.’ But all of them say it’s the absolute best. And from what they say, it’s right up my alley and I’m going to love it, so I can’t wait.”
Funny thing is, when Brett filmed the video for his new song, “Catch,” it features a little boy as his kid, but in the storyline it made sense, but eventually it might make even more sense when it comes to Brett’s own family, because he says he and Taylor want more than one child, and at least one of each.
