When Justin Moore released his Kinda Don’t Care album, he pushed himself a little out of his comfort zone with more progressive sounding songs like “Somebody Else Will,” but for his new album, Late Nights and Longnecks, Justin says, “I think this album, if I got out of my comfort zone on the last album, which I did, I crawled all the way back into it on this album. And it’s not because I didn’t enjoy doing it, because I did.”
Getting back to the traditional sound that he delivered on his first couple of albums was by design. Justin says, “I just really wanted to make an album that I would consider to be the most traditional one we’ve recorded and that was kind of the goal going in. I think my hardcore fans are gonna absolutely love this album and that was kind of the goal is to create a project that they go, ‘Man I absolutely love this. This sounds like vintage Justin.”
Late Nights and Longnecks, featuring “The Ones That Didn’t Make It Back Home” will be available July 26th.
