20 years after forming as a group, Rascal Flatts is still as relevant as ever, with their latest single, “Back to Life,” sitting in the top 20 on the charts. According to Gary LeVox, the credit certainly is not theirs. “That’s a God thing, really. It’s amazing because I think when we came out it was just Brad (Paisley), Keith (Urban) and us that are left from that class. But to be here this many years later and still be relevant and still creatin’ music that people want to hear, and they still want to hear what stories we have to tell, is phenomenal.”
It may sound like Gary is being modest, but he says, “We pinch ourselves every day. I know every artist says that, but we really, really do. Things just couldn’t be any better. You know, like I said, I’ve got to give God all the glory to give us a platform to still continue to make music and do what we love to do and be able to touch people’s hearts and tell our stories and theirs, and they’re still listening. So, you know, we’ll be here as long as they’ll have us.”
If Rascal Flatts keeps putting out great songs like “Back to Life,” it looks like Rascal Flatts will be around for a long time to come.
