Earlier this year, Chris Stapleton got to live out his dream of being a character in an episode of Game of Thrones, so we asked Brett Young if he could guest star on any TV show, which show would he want to appear on, and he said, “All of them are off the air at this point, so we’d have to be going back in time, but I think because of the amazing cameos that they had throughout the years, it would either be Friends or The Office.”
In both cases, it seems Brett has given some thought to the types of characters he’d like to play. On The Office, Brett says he’d want to play “some sort of extremely sarcastic type character, kind of crotchety.”
And on Friends he says, “Maybe it’d be fun to be one of the romantic interests that ended up being a lunatic and didn’t work out over the course of half of an episode. But those are the two shows that I never stop watching reruns so that would be pretty fun.”
Perhaps Brett will get a chance to try out his acting skills on a current show in the future, but for now he is focused on his music, including his current single, “Catch,” and touring the festival circuit this summer.
