(AUDIO) TYLER HUBBARD OF FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE’S CREATIVE MIND HAS TURNED HIM INTO QUITE THE ENTREPRENEUR

Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley of Florida Georgia Line met each other when they were attending Belmont University in Nashville, pursuing degrees in Music Business, but according to Tyler, there wasn’t really a plan for what he planned to do with that degree.  He says, “Naw, not really. I mean, I think we both knew we wanted to be songwriters and kind of had a one-track mind at that age.”

At the same time, Tyler’s entrepreneurial mind is always working, and he says, “At times I think it’d be fun to be some sort of designer or architect. Actually, about every year I think of another hobby that could turn into a career, that if this music thing weren’t our life what we’d be doing, but I think that’s just part of being creative and really enjoying the creative process.”

Besides their music, including their top ten hit, “Talk You Out of It,” Florida Georgia Line’s Brian and Tyler co-own the FGL House bar/restaurant in Nashville, Old Camp Whiskey, and they just opened their own record label, Round Here Records, among other things.
