(AUDIO) JAREN JOHNSTON OF THE CADILLAC THREE HAD SOME LOFTY CAREER GOALS UNTIL REALITY SET IN

With Labor Day fast approaching, Jaren Johnston admits that when it came to a plan B is he hadn’t become the front man for The Cadillac Three, there really wans’t one.  “I never had another plan on that.  You know, I kinda knew I was terrible at school.  I didn’t like it. I always was decent at whatever instrument you put in front of me. I could just kind of figure it out.”

There was a fleeting moment where Jaren says, “I remember thinking I could be like … I think a physical therapist crossed my mind, you know, like a sports doctor or whatever like that, which never in hell was I ever gonna get that degree or whatever.”

The Cadillac Three is out on the fair and festival circuit this summer, and they’ll be opening for Luke Combs on the first weekend of the fall leg of his Beer Never Broke My Heart.  Plus, they’re working on a new album, which will feature their current single, “CrackWhile in’ Cold Ones with the Boys.”
