There’s a line in Florida Georgia Line’s latest song, “Talk You Out of It,” that mentions “the playlist you play when you’re in the shower,” and Brian Kelley reveals that he has a shower playlist that he often turns on when he needs to get his creative juices flowing. “Sometimes in the mornings in Nashville, when I’m in the shower before I write, a day that we’re going to go to the studio or write or do something creative, I like listening to some old Jimmy Buffett,” admits Brian. He says, “I don’t know why but it just takes me to a good place – super chill, kind of out of my mind, you know?”
Brian’s choice of chill music isn’t entirely surprising, since he grew up on the beach in Florida and relocated his primary residence back there last year. However, he and his wife Brittany decided not to sell their sprawling treehouse compound in the woods just outside of Nashville, after listing it for sale last year, because it holds too many memories and too much significance for both of them.
