When Mike Eli of Eli Young Band isn’t obsessing about music, he has another hobby that consumes a lot of his thoughts. He says, “I’m kind of a nerd about watches. I’ve kept most of my watches that I’ve had since high school and middle school. So, over time my collection of watches has become stupidly large.”
Eli Young Band’s last song, “Love Ain’t,” reached the #1 spot on the charts, and their new song, “Break It In” is climbing the charts and will hopefully do the same thing. Perhaps Mike will buy himself a celebratory watch. But he jokes, “I’m a little addicted to watches and I’m seeing a psychiatrist about it, so, we’ll see.”
