(AUDIO) JUSTIN MOORE WOULD LOVE TO WORK OUT SOME USO TOURS IN THE FUTURE

Justin Moore’s last number one song, “The Ones That Didn’t Make It Back Home,” was inspired by our military men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country, and the idea came from a toast Justin does every night during his concerts to those who are serving and have served our country.  Justin has had a chance to perform “The Ones That Didn’t Make It Back Home” in some pretty special places, like the South Lawn of the White House for their Memorial Day celebration earlier this year, or just yesterday he performed it at Pittsburgh’s Heinz Field, as part of their Salute to Service pre-game celebration.  And while Justin has had plenty of opportunities to perform for troops and veterans here in the U.S., he says, “I’ve had opportunities in the past to do USO tours and things of that nature, and for whatever reason it’s just never come to fruition.”

Whether it was touring conflicts or just being unable to make his schedule match up with the USO’s tour schedule, Justin says, “That’s something I would love to have the opportunity to do.  That’s kind of one of the ways that we can give back.  We do play a number – it seems like the summer we play a number of bases and different military spirited events.  But yeah, I would love to do it for the actual troops themselves, you know, overseas or whatever that looked like, I would love to do that.”

We are certain that whenever Justin is able to make the stars align for him to be part of a USO tour, it will be a special event and one that will have the troops fired up with songs like “Kinda Don’t Care,” “Small Town Throwdown,” and his latest single, “Why We Drink.”
